New house

We have recently moved to a new house just me and my 2 kids after separating from my husband. However the neighbours ate so so bloody noisy - should i say anything to them. They seem really nice and my kids play with their grandkids. The walls are paper thin. I can actually hear them going for a pee when I’m in bed 🤦‍♀️

It sounds like the house is more the problem than the neighbours. They can’t be expected to pee quietly! People have a right to a normal life which includes making reasonable noise (different if they shouting/playing music etc early morning or late evening. I would look at insulation to try mask some of the noise

We live in a flat - our bedroom is above their front room and our front room is above their bedroom. My DP snores so I often go to sleep in the front room however I can't sleep either because the man downstairs snores as well and it's really loud in our front room. Drives me mad!

It’s definitely the house that’s the problem. If you’re renting I’d look to move at the end of your tenancy. Loud music is one thing but you can’t ask them to pee more quietly! Remember that what you hear them doing, they will hear you doing so you’re probably just as annoying to them.
