We live in flats. This evening our neighbour from upstairs comes banging on our door to give us a final warning... she was angry.... fuming!
The final warning was about WHITE marks on her car. So DH says let's go and look. We drive a BLUE car... her car is green! He points out they are WHITE marks and we drive a BLUE car... he said she mumbled something and went back upstairs.
The marks on her car are indeed WHITE. They are also in a position where our door wouldn't get beyond her wing mirror to touch her car. We've never had any kind of discussion. She parks facing in we always reverse in. DH only ever spoke to her once to ask her to move her car because it was in our spot... she generally parks at an angle... we don't complain we park our car as close to the curb as we can and leave it at that... life is too short.
I've taken photos and videos of both cars... because I don't think this will end. She has a friend who visits who drives an industrial white van and always parks next to us... in her spot... not many to go around... and they are tight...again we don't complain.
AIBU in thinking our car will be damaged?
What does one do in this circumstance. We've drafted a letter to letting agent because well I can't be bothered with petty conflict especially when I know we are not responsible... and she seems the type to want this type of shit and we would rather have a civil and peaceful existence while we are here.
