Child maintenance

Hello can anyone help me out

So for roughly 2.5 years the father of my children paid nothing for child one (we were on and off and lived together for a year but I paid for everything) (I was an idiot who was too proud to ask him for money because I didn't want him having this over me now I see I'm bloody well owed it)

Then we had child two and he started paying £75 a month then in the last few months to £150 a month. He's roughly paid for a year.

He works part time- more full time but not quiet enough hours to be full time at minimum wage - maybe a £1 over and then receives sass from college.
Now it's summer for a few months he will be working full time.

Does anyone know how much he should pay roughly? I tried the calculator but I'm not quiet sure.

The children never stay at his house. He does not have a room in his house for them.

Also if I choose to use the government payment does it back date it?

Many thanks

How much does he earn? Iirc, it's around 16% gross salary for 2 children and less than 1 overnight a week.

Go through CMS, they will calculate it from his salary, and no it will not be back dated.

If you’ve tried the calculator what are you unsure about?

The calculator will tell you what he should pay. There’s no backdating
