Myself and my fiance/fiancee (whatever you call it) are planning to get married april/may 2021.

We are looking for a cheapish wedding venue in or around Bristol to hold around 70-80 guests.

If you're local to bristol please help us find a venue.

Thanks In advance!

try frenchay village hall. You would hire out the main hall (can hold up to 150 guests)- you can see a picture of it all done up for a wedding on the home page of the website. The outside is also lovely for pictures x

No knowledge of Bristol but just a general point, be v v clear about what is and isn't included, read the small print and don't be pressured into signing until you are sure they meet your requirements. My venue wanted extra to hire crockery, switch on the fairy lights and didn't set out table decorations etc. Was in my jeans doing the place cards two hours before the ceremony 😠

Define cheapish? Are you looking for a venue where you can self cater or somewhere with a traditional wedding breakfast? We got married at Egypt Mill recently and got a really good deal as we booked/organised it in a few weeks? It's a lovely venue but might be a little far out of Bristol for you. Check out all the Bristol/Southwest wedding FB groups - there's loads - and somebody will have opinions on every venue imaginable! Wink

A friend got married here when her and her now DH were both students. She opted for the very small room for the ceremony though so that saved money. www.bristol.ac.uk/venues/weddings/ Was a lovely day Smile
