with DP because he is such a slow reader and STILL hasn't finished Harry Potter and I am not allowed to discuss it with anybody irl or even by phone in case he accidentally hears something? I have read it twice and read 2 other books as well since midnight last Friday!

And are you finding more in it on second reading? To be honest, I found all the tent stuff a bit boring second time round but thought the battle was still brilliant. And Dobby still brought a lump to my throat.

And - drum roll - dp has finished it!!!!!!!!! His verdict is that it was very exciting but he didn't like the epilogue at all; thought it was far too schmaltzy.

I'm going to start reading it again on Monday. DD has it atm, and she's on holiday! I'm expecting to get a lot more out of it this time, since I skipped most of the scene setting paragraphs and jumped straight to the facts!
