I have my last DS (of 3 DC) leaving full time education next year and my present job will have lasted 19 years at that stage - directly supporting all 3 of their (private) educations. I want to pursue a new career once DS leaves school as this will free me financially to leave present job but I am met with derision Angry from my DH when I mention what it is......long haul cabin crew. I wouldn't mind but my DH has been in this industry for 21 years and reaped the benefits of it (including me staying at home to hold the fort...!). I think it is time for me to do what I want...Sad..AIBU? Thoughts please....WWYD? Cliches aside from this type of job - I have been happily married for 29 years, have a background in aviation in a previous career and have always loved travelling so it's not an unusual thing for me to be interested in.
