To be annoyed at neighbours burning rubbish?

So all my doors and windows are closed, and three houses down, they are burning hedge cuttings in a giant metal bin. It's been going on for a good couple of hours.

It's so smokey that my eyes are watering and my house smells like it's actually on fire. All my clothes that were hanging to dry smell of smoke.

People have come out into the street thinking there's an actual fire.

It's crass behaviour. Only an imbecile would burn garden waste during the day when people are enjoying their gardens, have their windows open and have their washing on the line. Have a word with them.

A couple of us did. She said well I've filled my garden bin so I need to get rid of it, laughed and walked off.

And mines the washing in the house that smells of smoke!
