Positive thread-
Am finishing my role as teacher for summer and going back to supply work afterwards as a change in finances (due to inheritance) has given me an option to lessen my work load until our youngest is at school (about 3 years). Inheritance is not a fortune but is offering us stability so is life changing for us.
In turn I have now realised a few of my goals/dreams might be back on the table:
-finishing my degree
-writing a novel
-getting the sodding grill fixed on our oven after 2 years of no cheese on toast
-taking my DD(4yo) to Paris just the 2 of us
-getting an allotment
I am aware those dreams seem a bit flaky but between money, multiple deaths in mine and DHs family, PND and living in our first family home with my DM who has a chronic illness. I barely had a second to organise my brain. DM will be using her inheritance to move out to those who are curious.
FYI dreams which i have achieved thus far:
-lived in London (8 years a Nanny, place i met DH and had first DD)
-Saw Venice
-Bought a house
-passed driving test, eventually! Aged 30
Not gonna put kids and wedding in there as they are standard for most.
So, my question is- what is it you have all achieved and are v proud of yourselves for achieving? And, what is left on your list to do, and how do you think you can do it?
