They don't tan naturally.
I have never used a fake tan that doesn't streak.
I know I should just be pale and proud but they are blindingly white!
And my DDs are olive skinned which makes it worse for me.
Help - Please!

Spray tan?

ToothlessReg · 08/07/2019 08:53

As a fellow milk bottle, I like SkinnyTan mousse - best fake tan I’ve used and it doesn’t streak. It develops through the day (about 8 hours) then you wash it off. The express one isn’t as good.

Fakebake 60 minute tan. Put it on with gloves on, using the mitt provided. Wash off after an hour with shower gel. Should last 5 days.

Easiest solution I have found. I am fair so use the light version, you can leave on longer for a darker colour.

Sally Hansen leg spray! It's amazing and washes off with soap and water.

BarryBarryTaylor · 08/07/2019 08:58

Use that tinted moisturiser. Garnier do a good one!

writersbeenblocked · 08/07/2019 08:59

I use the tinted moisturiser too (the sun-kissed one), as long as I apply it with a mitt (Primark do a cheap one) it's fine. But as another fellow milk-bottle, I feel your pain!

CMOTDibbler · 08/07/2019 09:01

All fake tans make me go orange. The Sally Hansen leg stuff is fabulous, and blurs out veins/bruises/scars as well

FinallyHere · 08/07/2019 09:06

Another vote for Sally Hanson

Teddybear45 · 08/07/2019 09:09

Dove’s summer tan lotion is very subtle.

Chilledout11 · 08/07/2019 09:12

There's an aftersun by garnier (blue bottle) is a maintainer so basically has a hint of self tan. It really is lovely and gives a light colour.

NannyRed · 08/07/2019 09:15

Definitely the Sally Hanson spray, it’s more like foundation (the type you’d put on your face) but be sure to get the lighter tone if you really are milk bottle white.

clpsmum · 08/07/2019 09:18

Skinny tan have an offer on in boots at moment, three different tans and a mit for £25. I used it and found it easy to use (and I'm not a tanner!). One of them is a wash off one

Pinkkahori · 08/07/2019 09:22

I recently bought St. Tropez instant tan. I've never bothered with fake tan but my legs are so pale compared to the rest of me I just wanted to give them a little colour.
It's really excellent. I bought the lighter shade and i basically applied it like body lotion. It dries very quickly and gives me a lovely colour - very natural.

piefacedClique · 08/07/2019 09:24

The garnier summer body moisturiser with apricot gives a lovely gentle tan

Thanks for replies.
Could you all get together and decide on one for me please Grin

Sally Hansen washes off, doesn't It?

Best tan I've used is 'Bare by Vogue, the medium is fab! It's foolproof once you have a reasonable aptitude for applying fake tans

not sure if you can buy it here.

If not buy 'Bondi sands' it's actually really good too.

Rufusthebewilderedreindeer · 08/07/2019 10:11

I git this in an m&s goodie box

And actually I’m really quite impressed

Ive only used it twice but it certainly gave my legs a hint of colour

And its not fake tan as such so I wasn’t particularly careful with it

There's a waterproof version of the SH which stays on if you're going in the pool etc.

MrsS92 · 08/07/2019 11:05

Bondi sands is fab, they do a moisturiser with a little bit of tan in, I’m so pale by the second day I’ve gone a lovely natural tanned colour. I just apply it with a tanning mit and it’s not gone streaky.
Vita Librata also do a lovely bronzer, that’s a bit darker though and I only use that if my arms have a natural tan so my legs don’t look odd in comparison !
