That bloody Flora ad is actually encroaching by half an inch onto the text of the Active Conversations page! I expect to be marketed at when using the site, but I do think being able to read the bloody thread titles is a reasonable basic expectation.

Is this connected to the gentle enquiry about users' willingness to pay for the app to be ad-free? What's going on?

It's not just in active chat...it's bloody annoying. Sometimes I get 2 ads at a time.. covering the opening post.

Ha. When I read this thread there were 2 posts and 3 ads. The ads aren’t covering content but they’re so obtrusive. 3 in one screen’s worth is taking the piss. Don’t dare look at active conversations, I might grumble myself into a coma!
