To think that constant social media updates and PDA are a red flag?

I have an old school friend on social media. She broke up with her husband not too long ago but I don’t know exactly when as I only realised once the new guy appeared. She has recently started a relationship with someone new and every single social media post (and there are several per day) is a photo of them. He almost always has his hand on her bum and there is a lot of PDA.

Now don’t get me wrong, I’m pleased that she’s happy and I’m sure there is probably a (not very) small element of sticking it to her ex...but the constant updates and the way he is always touching her really possessively seems like a bit of a red flag to me. AIBU?

It's a dig at her ex, so YABU about the red flag.

It's a bit sad, though.

It sounds like she’s still dealing with the breakdown of her marriage and this is a symptom of that

Which way do you mean the red flag?
It sounds like she's using the guy to get back at her ex.

@fakenametodayhey
Public displays of affection

I dunno, it’s just all the groping... I find it a bit creepy and controlling.
