Especially if you have a big belly or overhang belly.

I have sucky in scaffolding pants but I'm going on holiday on friday and it's going to be WAY too hot for them!

I'm a short chubby 16.

High waist Brazilians from m&s are pretty good on the belly skimming front. Comfy and pretty too..

TheWernethWife · 06/07/2019 19:30

Size 18 here, I wear Sloggi full briefs, call them my harvest knickers, "all is safely gathered in"

MadamePompadour · 06/07/2019 19:35

I have microfibre briefs from M&S. They're not branded as high waisted and don't come up as far as my tummy button but still high to be above most of my tummy.

I like them for the gym as they're very comfy and kind of sweat resistant. So probably good for hot holidays.

Not exactly sexy but practical, they do them in lower rise and higher rise versions.

LOVE this! Grin

Picked up some Lidl bigger knickers recently, they are pretty ok.

Bawbags if you want something different, big waistband, no slippage.

Branleuse · 06/07/2019 19:42

sloggi double comfort shorts. Fab for under summer dresses and supremely comfortable

BikeRunSki · 06/07/2019 19:43

seam free briefs. Quite spendy but usually on 3 for 2 and well worth the £. Size 14/16 here

outofnothing · 06/07/2019 19:50

Agree with boopair
Perfect pants

PlaymobilPirate · 06/07/2019 19:53

I hear good things about sloggi so will definitely look into ordering some. Looking into all other suggestions so that I too can have harvest knickers! Grin

I want some harvest knickers 🙋‍♀️🙋‍♀️🙋‍♀️

I have the overhang thing too. Always thought sloggis were a bit dear for knickers, but I think I will invest in some as heard very good things about them.

ifigoup · 06/07/2019 20:06

I accidentally bought some Primark multipack ones that are sort of elastic all over, so while they’re comfy they also hold your belly in. They weren’t special, just what I thought were the equivalent of the M&S 3-pack. I don’t normally shop in Primark so others may have better intel on the ones I mean.

DontCallMeShitley · 06/07/2019 20:12

Asda George cotton full briefs if they still have any in stock, they sell out quickly at this time of year. They are in multi-packs of 4 (I think) or on hangers in sets of 3, I don't think they do cotton ones individually. Sainsburys also have similar as do Tesco but the Tesco ones are poor quality.

I used to get M&S microfibre ones but they roll down under trousers and end up under the belly. I also find M&S sizes are a bit off.

Mummyshark2019 · 06/07/2019 22:39

Sloggi full briefs or M&S full briefs.

Sunnydays365 · 07/07/2019 00:35

Definitely as pp said ,marks and Spencer high waist Brazilians, so comfy but not granny like

WanderingTrolley1 · 07/07/2019 00:42

Peacocks do a good full brief.

XXVaginaAndAUterus · 07/07/2019 00:45

I was kinda resigned to knickers doing the roll down thing Blush from my big belly but am excited to report that my new m&s 5 pack ones stay put and are lovely and comfy!

RagingWhoreBag · 07/07/2019 00:48

I'm a similar size/shape to you Playmobil, and I buy men's boxers/trunks! They come in so many pretty colours and patterns, hold in my tummy and don't show a vpl, they're cotton so nice and breathable and I can buy a pakc of 3 pairs for about £5 in Primark. Plus if you get the ones with longer leggy bits they can prevent chub rub.

SlipperyWhenWatery · 07/07/2019 02:44

Erm.
From the title of this thread it's obvious that it's the knicker troll.
God, I must have been here long enough to finally recognise one.

PlaymobilPirate · 07/07/2019 06:59

Or maybe someone who just needed advice @SlipperyWhenWatery

Bought some sloggi on Amazon yesterday so you may want to hang up your sheriff badge
