A health one - Pain from under rib down to ovary.....

Has anyone any experience of similar? I suffer from near constant pain either around the right ovary area or from there up to just under the right ribcage. Also been experiencing back pain in same side.

I have been to the Drs numerous times about the ovary pain and sent for ovary scan/appendix scan/kidney scan/abdomonal scan and all clear. Finally got referred to a gynae consultant who said I needed a laparoscopy as possibly endometriosis but the waiting list is about 6/8 months so I've a long wait. After the appointment with them the rib pain started so it wasn't mentioned to gynae at that time. But now it's really been annoying me so I stupidly googled it last night and of course cancer was the main result. Ovarian cancer to be exact. What scares me is that I do also have the bloating (not visibly as I'm fat anyway) and urinary issues that are listed as signs.

So am I crazy to be worrying about this after all those scans (blood tests including CA125 done about 18 months ago, symptoms started about 3 years ago) or should I be pushing for a more urgent laparoscopy or tests of some other sort? I'm 35 if that makes any difference.

I'm telling myself it's endo but the search results last night have made me so anxious.

So, AIBU to want more tests done in the wait for the laparoscopy or do the signs point to endo/something less scary?

Bumping as it's about to fall off the first page and I was hoping for some similar stories with good outcomes.

Have they ruled out a possible problem with your gallbladder?

I thought gallbladder too, I had pains all over the place.

Actually I've had a very similar thing since Jan, also convinced myself I was dying. Had scan and they ruled out my liver /gallbladder issues. It's actually been better recently but just go and ask for more checks it's not worth the worry!

Yes Gallbladder ruled out twice as it;s what my GP had been thinking too. Liver ruled out too.

I just hate the waiting as it's getting worse and I'd been pushing for the surgery for the last 18 months but the GP wanted to rule everything else out first, which I know was the right thing to do but it's just such a long time to have near constant pain and worry with no results.
