Neighbour sending me threatening emails?

Diamondeye · 05/07/2019 13:54

I have a noise dispute with a neighbour.

They play loud music all day and night whenever the sun is out. They’ve thrown rubbish into my garden etc

I’ve even heard them late outside in my garden once.

I put in a further complaint to the council and now they are sending me threatening emails saying they will sabotage me selling my property.

Having an ongoing dispute is likely to block any sale, as you'll have to declare it.

Keep reporting the incidents to the council. A settled dispute looks far better than a current one.

Keep the emails.

Do not reply directly to the neighbours.

Escalate with the council/landlord/police.
