Shouting

My DH is always shouting. Are some people just like this? Even if he's in the wrong he shouts defending himself. He shouts at the kids constantly for being disrespectful - he sounds like he hates them. He has made both my mum and my sister cry with his aggression. Even though tbh I can usually see his point I think he could discuss and talk to people instead of shouting. He says then no-one listens. I am sick of living in a war zone.

Some people are naturally shoutier than others, I think, although I'm not interested in being around those people because they're rude and disrespectful. But making your mum and sister cry? Bloody hell, that takes it to a level that I'm surprised anyone tolerates. That's not normal.

Nobody is going to respect someone who clearly can't control themselves.
There's no need to shout, ever, IMO (unless in response to someone who is shouting at you or won't shut up to let you make your point heard).
