Would you say it was a GDPR issue if you are in a university lecture and they read out all the names of people who have not submitted a small task that they didn't know they had to do?

Since GPDR came in people are desperate to make it a breach when something happens that they don’t like!

Tell me about it. I am one person single handedly responsible for GDPR as an add on to my day job and my life is hell because of angry customers that want to punish us by submitting a subject access request or screaming that something is a breach when it isn't. I'm not in a customer facing department, all they are doing is piling the work on someone that has nothing to do with what they are complaining about.

It's really quite something to think that anyone would consider getting the Information Commissioner and the power of the law involved, citing an act of Parliament, because SOMEONE SAID THEIR NAME OUT LOUD.
