AF start and stop PP?

Not really an AIBU but there's not much traffic elsewhere...

Since having my baby 3 months ago I've had one potential period on the 1st or 2nd June for about 4-5 days. I think it was my first one pp because the days leading up to it I was exceptionally moody.

Anyway have been expecting another period but it still hasn't arrived. I also don't have any symptoms of either af coming, or pregnancy (me and DH aren't actively trying but aren't avoiding either as we do want another baby).

I took a test on the 2nd july and it was negative.

Anyway as this was my first baby I don't know how normal it is for periods to start and stop.

I'm exclusively breast pumping, but not regularly enough that it could trick my body into thinking I'm bf (only 4-5 times a day). So I don't think the pumping should affect my fertility.

Wait a few days and POAS again. It's so difficult to track your cycle when your EBF as the pumping you are doing could affect your hormones to a point where your cycle is affected

Could it be worth using condoms or similar (non hormonal) so that your cycle returns so that you can track it? My cycle was affected massively after both DC and have become longer, apparently normal after having a baby

Thank you for your reply Omzlas That's a good point I did wonder if it could be a longer cycle now I definitely need to track it for a while to see what it's like now. Hopefully it will stay as a 4-5 day af too with no cramps - a very welcome change lol
