I am on a family holiday and am really shocked by the number of parents who allow their children to watch iPads, at high volume, with no earphones.
The flight here was five hours, a small child two rows behind me watched cartoons loudly for about three of those hours.
I then went down to breakfast in the hotel and a couple allowed their toddler to watch peppa pig loudly. Everyone in the restaurant was staring.
Is this now a thing? No wonder some children grow up to be so thoughtless. My boyfriend told me to ask the stewardess to intervene on the plane. But I didn’t want to Incas the parents didn’t have headphones and I was then the mean grown up who turned off the iPad. But really, where are people’s manners????
