To rehome the cat?

I’ve had the shittiest week ever.

Amongst other things:

  • DH moved out and we’re getting divorced
  • the puppy was at the vets having eaten various toys including the Nintendo games
  • I seem to have some kind of fucking blister on my clitoris (what the fuck is that?!)

The cat just woke me up meowing because I had forgotten to close the corridor door. As I was trying to shoo her out in the dark to avoid waking up completely, I stepped on the dead mouse she had brought me.

Should I rehome the cat and then shoot myself or shoot myself and let the cat be someone else’s problem?

(This is, of course, a lighthearted suggestion, I am not considering harming myself, although I cannot guarantee the safety of the next person/animal to mess me with me).

It’s a Bartholin’s cyst! Yay me and well done MN diagnosticians. I tried to get the doctor to say that as we’ve caught it early, it will just go away, but the best he could come up with is that if it’s not better in three days I need to go to hospital to get it lanced. Should coincide nicely with Monday when I have to take DD and her wheelchair on a plane for her check up at the specialist hospital in another country.

Last night doesn’t seem too bad in retrospect.

If they don’t burst they could turn nasty I would say a really hot bath or 3 and hot flannels on it, mine usually do burst in the bath in the end. I’ve had a couple and they are bloody evil!

It’s 34 degrees here, does that help?! Grin
(I’m only grinning so I don’t cry!)
