To consider a nose job/rhinoplasty? Photos

So I have been bullied for my nose in school, and although externally I stayed calm, it was pretty hurtful. I know it's not the worst nose in the world, but I keep coming back to an idea of rhinoplasty. I'm 29, and after a considerable break (8 years!), I am going to start my masters this September (and I am very anxious about it).

I don't have spare money, and initially, I thought that I'd do that later on in my life.. But the closer to September the more anxious I am.

My friends say I am an idiot. My husband says go for it if you feel better that way (although I wish him to say the same things as my friends do)...

I know shorter nose will look better on me..also the hump. But do I need it? What do you think?

I think you look beaut tbh...no changes needed (and I say that as someone who very pro changing what you don't like).

Totally agree. Please also bear in mind that the result of surgery cannot be guaranteed. Someone I know looked (to me) worse after her surgery than she did before mainly because her nose no longer suited her face

You look fab!! I’m waiting on the NHS to have mine done- I have 4 breaks in it, so mine is one hell of a wonky conk! So I understand you totally about that feeling where you aren’t happy, think people are looking at your nose not you, and you look at others with little cute noses and sigh! But girl, you have zero, nadda, zilch, nothing to be worried about!! Wanna swop?! Lol

I feel kinda ashamed now , after all these kind words and messages.. but honestly, thank you so so much! I had so much less of anxiety today and I guess the suggestion I have to try therapy first is correct.

I haven't even looked at the pictures but you don't always need surgical rhinoplasty these days as amazing things are being done with skilfully administered filler. I follow a page called the consultant clinic on instagram and I had no idea people were able to get this effect until it popped up on my feed one day, honestly I'd look at their page before I considered surgery. There are probably others who do the same thing but that's the one I follow

You look lovely. There's nothing at all wrong with your nose. You don't really want to look like a generic, bland person. I actually (and genuinely) think it is a good nose and gives you character (really not in a bad way).

Slightly different but I once saw a guy on a train with "keyhole" shaped colobomas going straight down from his pupil through his iris and had to try really hard not to stare because it was genuinely mesmerising but I didn't want him to think I was looking because I thought anything negative about it. It's a medical condition that in some cases can interfere with sight so I'm not making light of it, but I'd hate to think he was self conscious about something that looked pretty awesome just because it was unusual.

You look incredible. Use the money to pay for something like Thrive to learn how to have better self esteem and confidence.

Then I checked the trust pilot :1*. So just wanted to mention this if someone will check their Instagram.
I decided to message them just to see what they will say anyway. They have sent me the link to registration and said I need (!) a chin balancing, lol. My chin might be not the best part of me, but I am ok with it. And not "might consider" or "looked a"t, whatever. I just need it lol . No wonders people cant stop adjusting their faces, because you can adjust everything then. Who defines particular perfection? One thing when someone from ordinary people is saying this and another thing to get it from professionals..

WM and fawn, I think it's weird having odd eyes, it can make me look like I have a bad squint too as one eye greenish one brownish. So the brown one looks squinty. Not making myself clear at all sorry.
But still fawn you look divine with the nose you have. Dont change it, just try to learn to love it. Bullies will be bullies no matter, it's a personality they look for rather than a thing that's actually "wrong" with anyone.

My word if you think your nose is bad you should see mine! Yours is beautiful it doesn't need 'fixing'.

I’m not blowing smoke up your arse when I say you are beautiful. I really like your nose, it’s not the “cute” retroussé button beloved of Hollywood cosmetic surgeons, but it is a beautiful, elegant nose. It’s like Julie Christie, she would have been anodyne with the Hollywood button, and yes, there is a risk that changing it will alter the relative proportions of your face, that are currently harmonious, leaving you either unhappy, or running back for more surgery. Meanwhile you have lost “you”.
I’m not against rhinoplasty in all cases, I’ve seen good results, but the people in that category had very, very dominant noses or very pronounced bumps or hooking that really affected their confidence and hand on heart, they did look more conventionally attractive afterwards.
However I think you could really regret it.

I think you got bullied because you are absolutely stunning and they were jealous of you! You are beautiful and your nose is perfect. A good surgeon will hopefully tell you you don't need rhinoplasty. I wish I had your nose!

@Fawnsett I also was offered a chin implant or filler in my chin also told lip fillers would add to my profile it's crazy this is a photo of my face front on, I posted a photo of my nose side on down the post somewhere and thank you also to everyone who said my nose is fine I feel like it is now I'm older.
