I have large norks and cannot find a swimsuit that has a back clip for support. Bikini yes but swimsuit unfortunately not.

Even the expensive brands seem to think that support in swim suits will come from underwire in the front of the suit (like a normal front of a bra) and attaching the front support a lycra flimsy back. Wouldn't it be better and more supportive to have the bra be a complete unit including band?

AIBU to not really understand why underwire in swimsuits is used if it's only attached to the lycra bodice.

Lands end do a good one - lots of support up too without a wire and good straps to hold everything up!

Thanks Pug - I am happy to have underwire but I need it attached to something other than flimsy lycra!
Does the Lands end one have a band (like a bra) or just lycra body and straps?

I wear an underwired bikini with a non underwired tankini top over it.

I've just ordered from both Pour Moi & Figleaves and they all came with a back strap & clip - they all seem reasonably supportive (though getting any to fit well was a whole other issue, but I have that problem with bras anyway)

Bravissimo do back clips swim suits

I just bought one from Figleaves too and it has a back clip. I’m a 32G and can’t bear swimsuits without adequate support so I understand your concerns, but this one is pretty good. I think they have quite a few in a similar style.

I have two from Bravissimo and both have underwiring and have the back fastening too.

It is very hard to tell if the back fastening is just a bit of lycra or full mesh band support made as one unit.

The ones I have seen have the well made front only to have a band of lycra and clip.

I will have a good look though at Figleaves now.

Some Panache swimsuits also have this clip

Have a look at Brastop - they have loads. I have Freya and Panache and both have effectively a complete bra inside

I’ve got a Zoggs one, it has a bra clip. They come in clothes sizes not cup size but it seemed quite generous for my also large norks.

I have looked at the complete Freya range and haven't seen any with a complete bra inside, can you link?

I wear a sports bra under my swimsuit. If you buy a black one it looks like it’s part of the swimsuit.

This is like my one. The powermesh in the cups continues round and they are very well constructed

I read a tip recently to buy a non-underwired swimsuit and just wear a matching colour plain cheap supermarket bra under it.

I wear a bikini with a loose tankini top over it.
