DD (10) came to me last night upset at the thought of going back to school today. Usually very happy and content at school, lots of friends and she's a kind kid.

She took part in a sporting event on Thursday, at a nearby high school, which meant she was representing the girls in her year at the primary school she attends. She was very proud and excited and really enjoyed herself.

Whilst she was there and taking part in the event, it became apparent that boys in her year (5) and below (year 4) were making comments on her body parts. The boy in her year then told all the other boys that were there representing neighbouring schools what had been said.

DD understandably upset and says she was very embarrassed. It's obviously inappropriate and concerning and I have raised my concerns with DD teacher this morning when dropping her off at school. Teacher said "I'll make sure it is dealt with straight away". She had to rush back in as the kids were all walking in and would have been in class alone. She said she'd then discuss with me again when I drop DD off tomorrow morning.

How would you expect school to now deal with the issue/incident?
