I never thought I’d be ‘that person’ that asks for medical help on an Internet forum. But it's a pretty clear cut problem.
I think I may have cellulitis on my foot. But it’s too early for me to tell. I’ll probably know for definite by tomorrow night if it gets worse.
If it is, I’d rather go and get the antibiotics tomorrow as I’ll struggle to get time for a doctors appointment the rest of the week. But I don’t want to get an appointment tomorrow in case it’s absolutely nothing.
If there’s anybody
Knowledgeable that doesn’t mind, I’ll post a photo.
Thanks

They won’t know without looking at it

Nobody can diagnose you properly from a photo. If it’s worse tomorrow go and see your GP.

madcatladyforever · 30/06/2019 19:51

Send me a photo I'm an podiatrist used to work in the NHS so used to seeing foot cellulitis.

And no one should diagnose from a photo, even if they are able to.

It really is a case of just looking. That’s all then Doctor will do. I don’t want to waste my time and theirs going for an appointment if it’s nothing. I guess I’ll just have to wait and see if it gets worse and then try and take time off for doctors, which will be difficult.

@madcatladyforever thanks will send now.

It’s no worse this morning, redness hasn’t spread and pain isn’t worse so I’m thinking it might not be infected.

You could make an appointment for tomorrow and then cancel if you don't need to see a GP.
