What are you eating for dinner in this heat?

We can't find the keys to the garage so bbq has been cancelled. DH has bought a rotisserie chicken which we'll have with salad and baguette. No way am I cooking. Actually, I might make a coleslaw.

Neighbours are having pulled pork and all the trimmings, their kitchen is an inferno!

Sausages and boiled new potatoes and roasted veg. I obviously didn’t think this through. Melting!

Its not hot here. We had a storm earlier.
Having bbq food just now

We will be having salad with cold cumin roasted sweet potato and lentils added with tikka spiced chicken and raita. Oven was on earlier while we were outside. Baby had beetroot, broccoli and carrot steamed and devoured with his one tooth, followed by some semi frozen puréed pear (like a pretty rubbish sorbet), his favourites

Homemade pasta with kale, spring onions and ricotta

I had a banana sandwich and dd is having toast. Neither of us feel like eating when it's hot.

Chicken Caesar salad, really can’t face an oven.

DH is unwell, shivers/hot and fancies fish and chips and mushy peas. Girls will eat at work and DS had chips from the kebab shop with his friends.

BBQ here....Steak, Boewors, chicken and pork kebabs, tomato and halloumi kebabs and salad

Roast chicken with baked potatoes & salad.

Nothing takes my appetite away unfortunately, chicken and veg stirfry here.

We had hoisin ducks wraps and some stir fry bits. Tomorrow I'm doing gammon in the slow cooker though and we're going to have picnic teas for the next few days

Roasting here.... minted lamb koftas on the outdoor grill- not really a BBQ, I’m not being a knob, with salad and pita breads.

Daughter made gingerbread men, so banana and apples sliced into a kebab stick with said gingerbread men for pudding.

Samosas and then paneer curry with poppadums and pickles!

DH has gone to get himself a pizza because I'm having what he calls 'girly stuff'.

I've got a couple of pieces of feta, with sun-dried tomatoes, green olives, some of the pickled garlic I got at a street market yesterday and a sprinkling of Schwarz Salad Topper. Food of the gods!

Dominos chicken wings and a Hagen Daaz peanut butter salted fudge ice cream to follow

And JD and cherry coke.

We just had the chicken legs from a pre-cooked chicken, with potato salad. Cold beer to go with it.

Tomorrow we will have the breasts and whatever meat is left on the carcass in a Caesar salad. Again, cold beer to go with it.

I’m on a low carb diet so made egg fried cauliflower rice with baked chicken strips that I marinated last night. Had it with a crispy salad and green beans. Wasn't too bad but I’d give anything for a Chinese!!!

We’re having a bbq and then off out for some cocktails.

Fish and chips for dinner. Had sandwiches for lunch.

I'm having breakfast for dinner - American style pancakes with Greek yoghurt, strawberries and honey. Cooling and delicious!
