They spend money - even though they can afford it? DH and I have an equal amount of pocket money to spend how we like, it covers any spending on hobbies, nights out, that sort of thing, purely fun money.

I don't spend it all every month, in fact I've just had a couple of frugal months, as I don't spend for the sake of it, and there has been nothing I wanted/needed to buy beyond a ball or two of yarn and a newly published book from an author I collect. I don't go out very often, other than for walks, so nothing spent on socialising other than the weekly £2 cost of attending a local craft group.

Last week I saw a rucksack I really liked from an online shop. It was on special offer with a free cross body bag, so cost for both was £44 with free postage. They arrived yesterday and I am in love! So much in love, I ordered 3 more bags last night (total cost £64). Now I can afford this. I used my allowance to pay for them. I haven't bought a new bag in over 3 years, and those I have are tatty and mostly old. None of them are anything like the quality of the bags I just bought. So why, WHY do I feel so guilty?
