@FloatingthroughSpace yes it would be. Pencille clearly has psychological issues, claimed to be hearing voices moments before the attack, also verified by witnesses, and has a history with his mental health I think.
I do not think he will be convicted of murder, but a lesser charge.
Pomeroy was totally unreasonable by the look of it and picked the wrong person to fight with. Still, he shouldn't have died for it, but not many have much sympathy for him from what I can gather. Only his son and the people who had to witness it.
