So the back story here.
I work in a small team.
One is off long-term poorly. One is on holiday, and the other two have got unavoidable domestic chaos going on which is presently involving them having to leave at erratic times. And then there's me, and our manager.
I also have lupus. Not normally a big deal but this week i've managed to get that cold that's going round and now it's got to Friday and my immune system has pretty much had enough and is making its displeasure felt in various unhelpful ways.
Now here's the AIBU bit. I'm not catching, I don't need to be in bed. I feel awful, but I wouldn't feel any less awful if I was at home - I'd just be nearer to the toilet...
Tonight is my late shift, and we're already short staffed. AIBU to think it's OK to go home sick?
