Ugh! Need to rant. Stressful lunch hour!
So just been on my lunch break and I needed to get fuel on way back to office. All of the pump rows had a car at each of the two pumps, so I pick a queue, see the people leave their cars to go pay and I wait.
Five minutes pass, people in other queues come and go, I'm still sat there like a lemon, unable to move as the cars are building up behind me.
Eventually people behind me give up and pick other queues. The drivers still haven't come back to my queue, and now 10 minutes has passed.
So I manage to leave the queue and queue again, on next pumps and fill up.
Then as I head in to pay, I see the two drivers that I was waiting for deep in conversation with two charity chuggers, looking to get them to sign up to a direct debit. Hence the reason I was sat there like a twat for 10 minutes.
Now I get that charities need to raise funds, but surely doing so in the doors of a petrol station (especially during busy periods) is a ridiculous idea. AIBU?
