NC for this as mega-outing!

But, I believe we all have nicknames / terms of endearment / joke names for our pets.

I want to hear yours and if there's a story behind it, even better.

I've two dogs Beabea and Murphy. The collective noun for my babies is 'The Stenches', to the point that I ask my DDad to Stench Sit and my mates call them The Stenches too.

Beabea has a few nicknames, all totally said in a loving way, I promise! She's a bit cuddly, very fiesty, raucous, cheeky and fun, so her names are Madam, Lard Arse, Beabea Boo Bum, Boo Bum, Boo, Bitch Face, Bitch Features, Big Girl, Daddy's Princess and My Princess.

Murphy is very timid and clingy, (Beabea wears the trousers) and he's happiest if being stroked, cuddled, or spoken to, he doesn't like rough and tumble play. He's called, Dopey Bollocks, Gimp Features, Gimp, Captain Gimpy, Gimpy Pants, Knobhead, My Shadow, Twat Dog, Big Boy, Mummy's Prince and My Prince.

I'll shut up now and await responses that make us feel less weird. 👀😁

And variations of No.

The same as my user name. Her name is actually Maisie, but she gets Dogbert often.
Or Slobberchops on a sunday if there's a roast in the oven and she sits drooling when it's being carved. It's the only time she drools i must add.

Cockadoodledooo · 26/06/2019 13:57

The cat was furry fuckwit most often.

We just have a rabbit now which ds2 named Lord Fluffington so any nickname he gets is actually a bonus Grin

Bentley111 · 26/06/2019 14:30

Lola the Jack Russell is often referred to as Pigeon, Pidge or Princess Pigeon - when she smiles her ears disappear and she looks like a little pigeon.

Bentley the DHorse is always Boodles or Baby B. He's only ever Bentley when he's naughty he's never naughty.

Lewis Hamilton the DHorse is Lewbs, Lewby, King Lewis - DH calls him King Dick because he's a massive diva (Lewis, not DH 😂)

We lovingly call our gangly 8 mth old dog (giant breed) 'village' as he always acts like the village idiot, think trying to squeeze a huge body through a small opening or doing an actual flip when he tries to stop or change direction while running too fast.
Wouldn't change him for the world, but no threat to Mensa ! LOL.

MyFuzzyBoy · 26/06/2019 15:19

Fuzzywuzzy fuss puss
Baby boy
Thick baby
Silly boy
Gorgeous
He’s usually spoken to in a dodgy French accent.

MamaWeasel · 26/06/2019 15:30

Twuntsrule · 26/06/2019 18:18

My cat's name is Spunky Bastard, but he also answers to Spunk, Bastard, SpunkyB, Spunky Shark do do do do do (loves the song), Fucktard, Spunkadoodlehead, Spunkalicious, and probably a few more!

(photo is about 14 years old...he's much larger now, but not stout)

Cassort · 26/06/2019 18:23

She didn't have a nickname but when we were doing voice-overs for what she was thinking about us she alternated between calling us 'the fuckers' and 'that pair of bastards'. Grin

Nousernameforme · 26/06/2019 18:29

Captain fluffy pants

JeannieW · 26/06/2019 18:30

Have one dog really name Bilko
But called by me billy the squidge

Wishiwaswonderwoman87 · 26/06/2019 18:35

Scottie dog called Cherry

Cheraldine, cherifer, Cheryl, Chergina (basically any name we can change to add Hers in)

Cassort · 26/06/2019 18:37

Ye, ddogs internal dialogue usually went along the lines of

'look at the fuckers there slobbering over steak and me stuck with my dry food which the vet allegedly claim is good for me... *sigh... they think I'm fucking thick. Pair of bastards'.

'and now the pair of them up on the lovely couch snuggled up like Lord and Lady muck and where am I? In a fucking dog basket. God fucking forbid I put a hair out of place! OH? She might sneeze!!! My heart bleeds....... I get zero respect around here - strongly considering running away - that'll show the fuckers'.

We got hours of entertainment out of her imaginary loathing of us....

Cassort · 26/06/2019 18:41

Then we'd have 'Those fuckers think I'm an imbecile because I chew chairs and skirting boards - I know CATS who have IPADS ffs! They throw me a rubber toy and think that cuts the mustard. I'm an intelligent dog - more brains than the pair of them put together. Pair of bastards. Going to phone RSPCA'.

Frouby · 26/06/2019 18:45

Ddog is called knobhead quite a lot.

Guinea pigs are greedy fuckers, squeaks, little fluffs.

SmallPony is called knobhead quite a lot. Also Mr Doodles.

BigPony is called fatarse, fatty, knobhead.

Chickens have various proper names but get called chooks or the girls. Apart from the cockerel who is called Knobhead or Kebab.

Pet pigeon is usually called Kez, but dh calls it beautiful, baby, sweetheart. I call it knobhead quite a lot. Especially today when it went visiting my ndn and was happily sat on her living room door while her dp panicked at my front door because he thought it would fly into a window and break it's neck.

Knobhead is a reoccurring theme. I love them all really, they are all just knobheads sometimes.

Serin · 26/06/2019 18:49

Dogs nickname is pestypaws and the cats is scatty.

Greenandcabbagelooking · 26/06/2019 18:50

That bloody dog

I once tried to call him a mud-ball when he was covered in mud. I accidentally called him a mudblood. Let's hope there were no other Potter nerds around!
