Taking nipple piercing out?

I got it done a few days ago and it's really painful and I regret it.
I'm having a operation next week so it will need removing.
Will I be ok to take it out and will it just close up?

It will just heal if you leave the 'nipple-ring' out.

Hopefully it's not infected. Bathe it with aloe vera.

Good luck with your op. Flowers

I mean, it will close up and heal...

Mine closed over within 4days of removing the bar.

When I got the piercing it hurt for about 3-4 weeks then after a year I got so sick of it catching on things I just removed it!

Why did you pay to get it done in the first place if you knew that you have an operation coming up soon and it needs to be taken out YABU if you wanted you nipple piercing am sure it could’ve waited until after the operation it’s not like the piercing place was going anywhere. Take it out if you really want to but it will just close up. Where you not give instruction on how to look after it and how long it takes to heal most piercing take 6 weeks to heal.

Mine healed over very quickly after deciding I didn’t want it anymore and taking the bar out. Had it for about ten years, healed over in less than a week.
