FET drugs (frozen embryo transfer) Progynova and metallic taste in mouth

I'm on Progynova because I'm due to have frozen embryo transfer soon and I keep having a metallic taste in my mouth off and on. At the same time as starting the drug I had a temporary filling done in a tooth right next to an amalgam filling in the next tooth. I'm worried that the metallic taste is to do with that and I don't really want to start making a baby if i'm leaking mercury (NHS guidelines say you shouldn't have work done on mercury amalgam fillings whilst pregnant).
But some women get a metallic taste in their mouth when pregnant, because of the hormones so i'm wondering if it's a rare side effect of the drugs (can't find anything online). I had norethithone (spelling?) prior to the Progynova. Anyone had a metallic taste in their mouth from this drug, despite having nothing wrong with their amalgam fillings (or maybe no fillings at all!)
thanks xx

I've been on Progynova since a radical hysterectomy last August and have had no metallic taste at all .. not sure if that helps really but that's my experience.

Could you have a dental checkup just to rule out the filling being the issue before you move onto the embryo transfer?

Oh and whatever the outcome with the metallic taste I'm crossing everything for your TTC journey Flowers
