I'm at my wits end and I need help. Do plug ins work?

Got quotes from pest control £700 😩

Phoned council it's a lot cheaper but I'm not sure how affective it will be because I can't find reviews for the company they use. Also they only do one treatment where the other company use two. I'm extremely overwhelmed right now. The lady on the phone told me that I need to prep the rooms before the person comes to do it.

Clear all rooms of clothes (there's 7 of us)
Take curtains and curtain rails down, all pictures frames ect.
Clear beds of all bedding, quilts, pillows and wash them. Wash all the curtains clothes and soft furnishes. Empty under beds. Wardrobes, drawers everything. Where the he'll am I putting all this bagged up stuff and how the hell am I washing and drying it all 😩 I just want to set fire to the house and move somewhere else 😬😢 help!

You really need to get pest control in to do some dusting. I work for a company that has a pest division. Don't g for the known household companyies. look in the yellow pages and see about a quote from someone local.

The only way to get rid of them off to get pest control in. That, or a nuclear war.

If you have wooden bed frames they get inside the joints and can be neigh on impossible to get rid off, and wooden furniture. I worked in a hotel before and we had to constantly fumigate one particular room because of it, ended up replacing beds with metal frames.
