not to look at 'shreddies' cereal in the same way again ? [not really laughing - too much.

ds and i were talking about breakfast cereals and it came round to 'shreddies' which i hate. he wasn't sure what they looked like so i looked them up for him and along with other things this appeared...

Shreddies is actually (now rather old-fashioned) slang for underwear. My father often referred to his pants as shreddies.

My father calls underpants ‘shreddies’. I’ve never eaten them because of that.

I got put off shredders when they had the knitted by Nanna's advertising. Them being knitted just put me off
