I was making a beef pie today and DH defrosted some stock to put in it.
As I plopped it into the pan (where I had sweated off some onions/ garlic/ herbs and the browned beef chunks) I realised that it was the basis of a fish soup (very fishy but tomatoey too).
He went potty and washed the beef chunks (I refried the onions etc and kind of started from scratch) but I thought it would be ok... You know... Surf 'n' turf...
