To wear a too tight ring?

I only went and put on over five stone after my wedding... Blush

I am slowly losing the weight and I can now just about wiggle my wedding ring back onto my ring finger (I was wearing it on my little finger before), unfortunately it does take a little wiggling and it does create a slight sausage finger effect although that's helpfully disguised by my eternity ring.
Makes my whole finger a teensy bit pink.

I need to lose more weight before I can wear it don't I?

I hear some people joking saying things like 'I couldn't get it off I tried' but wearing it right now will cause problems won't it?

Or does the pinkness and slight tinglyness subside after a while....

Yes. When your finger drops off through lack of blood.

Don't be a drip OP! Take it off.

I took it off shortly before making the post.

In this hot weather when your fingers swell during the day it could go from a bit tight to having to have the ring cut off.
You are wise to have taken it off.
