Pregnant?

I have taken a pregnancy test by clearblue and have came back with negative results. According to my period schedule app am now 16 days late and had my last period at the beginning of last month. I'm growing a little concerned and have never been pregnant before. Any advice?

Do another test and Go to your doctor

It’s more likely to be a skipped month at 16 days late, but if you want to do another test use a pink dye one. It’s not really worth going to the doctors unless you’ve missed at least two months with no positive result.

Are the pink dye more reliable? My main concern is that I work a physically demanding job and I want to be sure I dont overdo it if I am. I dont have many females in my life I can talk to about this situation so I apologize for any uneducated concern or question.

You can skip a period for many reasons, it has happened to me a handful of times in my life. I think main reasons are stress, over exercising and new diet plus not ovulating that month can cause it.

You could try another brand of test, people swear by First Response and use the first wee of the day. If it’s still negative, you’ve probably just skipped a month.

Could you have a quiet work with your boss, or (and I know it's not morally right) have a strained ab muscle or buggered rib so that you can scale back your physical work for a few days until you get a conclusion? But yes, pee on a stick again.
