This totally acceptable for a baby boy?

DS is nearly 6 months. I pick most of his clothes but DP likes to have a say too...

We like lots of different styles, agree on most clothes. But recently bought this from M&S as thought it looked cute for summer holidays, but DP refuses to put him in it. Says it's too frilly.

Surely not.

Thoughts?

I think it's lovely! Why does an extra piece of material offend him so much? My DD wears boys romper suits as I like the colours.

What? Its totally fine! I dressed my son in stuff like that... hes a baby, babies are cute! I used to dress my son in tiny sailors outfits and even, golly gosh, the odd floral romper! And its not harmed his masculinity one bit.

It's cute I would put my little boy in it no problems. Spanish outfits are frilly for boys and girls I don't see the issue 😊☀️👍🏻

It's not quite my taste but totally fine for a boy. I'm pg with DS2 and most of the baby grows I've bought him have been from the girls section and have rainbows on them!

And yes it does look more vintage boys clothes rather than actual girls clothing... if you like that look go for it.

It's hardly a frill , more a pleated detail. I think it's charming and would be good for any little one in warmer weather...

It’s totally fine. Tell your husband to unclench, his son won’t catch the gay because his romper has a frill.
