To dislike VOTE buttons

Is it just me or are they click bait? I’ve only seen then tonight and find myself reading them even if they are topics I wouldn’t usually click on just because they’ve got the vote button.

I get the irony Grin

Your post has just made me notice them 🙈 I presumed they were just another annoying ad!

darkriver19886 · 22/06/2019 00:57

It made laugh out loud Haha. I don't mind them.

GodDammitAmy · 22/06/2019 01:00

Not liking them! Feels a bit "hun"

TwinklyMummaLuvsHerBubba89 · 22/06/2019 01:03

I like them.

EveryFlightBeginsWithAFall · 22/06/2019 01:04

I don’t like it. Only had it since yesterday

womanaf · 22/06/2019 01:20

I scrolled right past them
Because I assumed they were the advert...

onemorerose · 22/06/2019 01:22

I feel compelled to vote when I’d usually just scroll on by. And I thought they were ads at first too.

The novelty factor will wear off.

I'm reserving judgment until that happens.

ThroughThickAndThin01 · 22/06/2019 03:17

I quite like it, much to my surprise.

WeBuiltThisBuffetOnSausageRoll · 22/06/2019 06:18

I can't view your thread, because I refuse to use the internet.

WeBuiltThisBuffetOnSausageRoll · 22/06/2019 06:31

If anything, it puts me off clicking on a thread, because it suggests to me that, instead of a multi-faceted, involved human-interest topic to ponder, discuss and discover lots of nuanced opinions on, it's just going to be like one of those pointless, inane Channel 5 filler bagatelles.

"Britain's Favourite Crisps!!!! It's the MASSIVE question that we've ALL been DESPERATE to know the answer to - and we've finally SOLVED it once and for all : Does a slightly greater proportion of people out of an arbitrary random selection from a large, diverse, non-homogenous population, when badgered and harassed by an over-enthusiastic annoying young intern, express a marginal preference for cheese 'n' onion, salt 'n' vinegar or prawn cocktail ?????? Exclusive findings !!!!!!"

IDontLikeZombies · 22/06/2019 06:41

Will we lose that great bit where someone comes onto a thread, argues beautifully against the prevailing current of opinion causing PPs to change their minds?

IDontLikeZombies · 22/06/2019 06:45

Salt and vinegar, the rest taste like crap and don't get me started on bacon flavour (boak). Possibly pickled onion if its a maize type crisp and maybe Worcestershire Sauce in a crisp emergency but in general salt and vinegar.
