She jumped up at me and caused me to spill wine all over my bosom. AIBU to consider adoption?

Training issue - look to your own shortcomings.YABU.

MyGastIsFlabbered · 21/06/2019 22:18

Oh FFS this was meant to be lighthearted, of course I'm not going to rehome her Hmm

livelyredjellybean · 21/06/2019 22:21

If it was one of my dogs, she would have had the wine herself 😂 Bless her, she’s crossed her rainbow bridge now but the only time she used to sit next to me was when I had wine 😂

WhiteLightTrainWreck · 21/06/2019 22:23

I would read her the riot act and put her in the naughty corner?
If that doesn't work and you don't get an apology, I'll have her?

dudsville · 21/06/2019 22:23

She is clearly asking for her own glass of wine. Mine loves Kibble Juice 2019. (Yes totally lighthearted!)

recrudescence · 21/06/2019 22:24

Apologies for not contributing in the way you wanted.

Whitefeather01 · 21/06/2019 22:24

Throw the whole dog away, unforgivable!

Whitefeather01 · 21/06/2019 22:25

@recrudescence - Do you need some wine too? There's some going free on OP's boob...

TitianaTitsling · 21/06/2019 22:26

She's clearly asking for a glass of Chateau-woof du Pup...🍷

Deadlysinner · 21/06/2019 22:28

White or red wine? That's an important question before deciding!

yellowblueorange · 21/06/2019 22:28

@Whitefeather01 😂

Nottheduchess · 21/06/2019 22:29

Definitely try sucking it out of your clothes first (the wine, not the dog).

BelindasRedPlasticHandcuffs · 21/06/2019 22:30

Whitefeather Grin

ChazsBrilliantAttitude · 21/06/2019 22:32

Rehome immediately to a teetotal household.

Sparkles57 · 21/06/2019 22:33

YABU - an appropriately trained dog shouldn’t be jumping up.....

Grin just kidding - mine would have snaffled the wine

Fstar · 21/06/2019 22:39

Let the dog lick the spillage and pour her a glass too, whats good for the goose is good for the gander

mouldyhousemouldylife · 21/06/2019 22:46

@recrudescence oh my god get an actual life 😂

poochuspoochus · 21/06/2019 22:50

I know this is intended to be lighthearted but I'm finding the suggestions of giving dogs wine a bit stressful. Grapes can be highly toxic to dogs. Some dogs can be fine and others can die after eating a couple of raisins. Sorry for being so humourless.

Wolfiefan · 21/06/2019 22:53

I was attempting to do dinner and half a dozen other things earlier. Giant D dog snuck in the kitchen and sidled up to the chopping board. CHEDDAR!!!!
I actually called out “I don’t think so cheese face!”
She slunk out. Grin

mouldyhousemouldylife · 21/06/2019 22:54

Stressful Confused nobody is actually going to give their dog wine...

Rocketpants50 · 21/06/2019 22:54

Def a training issue, mine now can uncork the bottle and pour. Suggest dog is rehomed until she can prove to be more useful.

Wolfiefan · 21/06/2019 22:56

Wish mine would fetch me a top up every now and then. Wink

MacavityTheDentistsCat · 21/06/2019 22:56

Is the dog a Winemaraner by any chance?

darkriver19886 · 21/06/2019 22:56

YANBU. I almost rehomed my cat when she knocked my laptop off.

gettingtherequickly · 21/06/2019 22:57

No! Dogs are not allowed to touch mummy's wine juice. Surely all good dog trainers know that.

But have you given her paw-secco? Yes, it's a thing!
