Get a taxi. They are all accessible. Buses are too, but if you are feeling apprehensive, then just get a cab to help you feel more relaxed. It is a lovely way of seeing London too, so well worth the expense.

Taxi without a shadow of a doubt.

All buses should be accesible but it can be hard to find the right one/ right stop etc if you don’t know London. Also check out tfl.gov.uk/plan-a-journey/. It has a section where you can check you access needs and it calculates a route accordingly.

Ok another bumpkin question but can I pay by card? Or do I need cash and if cash how much roughly?

Sorry just seen the easiest/fastest way - yes a taxi!

Buses in London don't take cash. You'll need a contactless credit card or to get an oyster card.

There's a great charity called Transport for All that campaigns for accessible transport in London. (And elsewhere? Not sure.) They may have advice in their website.

If you get a black cab they will take a card - I always ask if their card machine is working when I get in just to be on the safe side! Have a good trip

Oooh I'm less scared and more excited now! thanks all
