To ask who deals with this, police, school or school police officer?

Hi all, not sure who I can as about this as nobody official seems to want to answer.

Dd was verbally threatened with being stabbed, in a phonecall by a Male student (secondary). In case anyone wonders what she might have done, the boy was prank calling, and when she realised who it was he was pissed and threatened her. That's it.

So we called 101. Two days later they took a statement but said there is a police officer attached to every school and they should speak to the boy. The police taking statement would not because it couldn't be proven it was him. Though nobody tried to prove or disprove, they just didn't seem interested. The call was on private number of course.

The school have spoken to dd for her side and say they will investigate but, the child is currently suspended for something else so they cannot speak to him? They have not offered when he will return. The school officer is also away on training so he can't do anything either.

So basically, days ago, my dd was threatened to be stabbed, we've told police and school but nobody is doing anything and we have no idea when they will.
Does anyone know who or how this should be being dealt with? Or aibu to think someone should be doing something?
