To think the local Italian restaurant should deliver to the sad pregnant lady (me)

I'm unwell and drained, have no one to go for a meal but for DAYS have absolutely CRAVED an Italian restaurant meal - lasagna, penne, pizza and chili sauce, lots of Parmesan, oh my lord my mouth is watering!!!

I feel like they should make exceptions for nauseous and lonely pregnant women who've just had the crappest day at work and needs an Italian meal and just be kind and deliver it 😭

It's all I can think about!!!!!!! I'm too hungry for this

I'm ready to cry the craving is so strong 😂 I'd honestly pay £50 tip for this!

They might do you a takeaway to collect? (assume you’ve checked deliveroo/just eat)

Do you have Uber eats or deliveroo? A lot of these deliver from Italians and also I know pizza express does in some postcodes!

Ask if they'll do takeaway and send a taxi?

I'm not in UK unfortunately, on the small rock island so not many options and don't drive to collect it!!! 😭

Use a meal delivery company (Deliveroo, just eat, or there's independent local services too ) or call a minicar to pick up your order - this assumes they do take away

Call the restaurant and ask? If you don't ask, you'll never know! Tell them what you've told us; I bet at least one staff member (or even a staff member's friend, if they are short-staffed) would be willing to deliver for a huge tip. Hope your nausea eases up soon. x

Could you not ring a local taxi firm and ask them to pick it up and deliver it to you?

Why does being pregnant make you special? Do they offer delivery to the genuinely housebound?

are you a regular? I bet they'll do it if you are. Send in your own dish by taxi... (in fact I wonder if they'll sell you several portions of their sensational sauces / lasagne for your freezer? Our local italian definitely would, for a good customer. They're italian, it's in their genes to make people eat and look after babies!)
