Does this receipt look right?!

I'm hoping I'm wrong but does this receipt look correct! I should be receiving a refund of £148 but it says I will be credited by -£148, shouldn't it just be £148. Hope that makes sense! (Photo attached)

Looks right to me

It looks as if it’s minus £148 to boots if that makes sense? Keep the receipt and keep a check on your bank account

RezCowgirl · 20/06/2019 16:05

Looks right

It is a refund but I agree it is badly worded. It's like having a double negative in speech.

alittlepieceofme · 20/06/2019 16:12

Great, thanks for your replies. I'll keep an eye for it in my account

Do you have online banking? It will show up pretty quickly.

TestingTestingWonTooFree · 20/06/2019 16:21

Looks like a refund as planned.

alittlepieceofme · 20/06/2019 16:33

I do have internet banking and things normally show up pretty quickly in my balance but obviously not in my available funds and it hasn't! That's what made me check my receipt!

Yes it looks right from a till reconciliation point of view. Can see how it looks odd from a customer pov though. As pp have said keep an eye on your bank just in case.

ems137 · 20/06/2019 17:26

Yes that looks right. I've found that refunds usually take a couple of day to show though so I doubt that it'll be in your bank today.

alittlepieceofme · 22/06/2019 09:45

It's showing up in my account! Phew! Thank you for the responses! X
