To think fake tan looks awful on 90% of people

Maybe its a case of only noticing the bad examples, but it seems at best fake tan goes from a strange metalic gold to at worst being a weird orange colour. I have seen some darker skined friends pull it off and it seems to work better on Italian or Spainish people for some reason. But generally the average pale brit would look best without it.

I agree. I ditched the fake tan 10 years ago and have never looked back. It looks awful and it stinks!

Some people are just meant to be pale. Embrace it.

I use it and I can't say it looks great, but my legs are literally pale blue without it, which looks even worse .

I think most people seem to pick too dark a shade for themselves.

I think any sort of noticeable makeup looks awful but done well so you don't notice, it can really improve things.

I do use a bit of gradual tanner on my legs but I doubt you'd notice, it makes them slightly off-white rather than tanned

I think lots of things look awful on people but I don’t give it a second thought because they obviously like it and it’s none of my business
