Period after breastfeeding

I've bf my son for 14 months and now we're down to 2 night feeds. I've been getting really bad cramping bloating for two weeks now but no period. When I stopped bf my older child at 9 months it came pretty much straight away.
Has anybody else had a delayed return of the period? As well being irritable and grumpy my back is aching

I got my period when DD was 19 months (same as you, she only breastfeeds at night now) but I had period-like cramps for 2/3 months before it actually appeared!

Oh no that's what I'm dreading. Last month I felt the same cramps for a week but thought maybe he was nursing a bit more so my period was delayed. The crampy bloating is awful.
