To spend €€€€ on a notebook?

Its my birthday and i dont particularly 'need' anything but i have a terrible soft spot for notebooks. I was looking at a Leather binder thing thay you can refill and put in notebooks/planner/ journals and ot keeps everything together. Can't remember the company name.

Can anyone recommend a company that sells this type of thing. Basically i want a place to keep a few notebooks together and a diary all in one place. I want to to feel nice, smell nice and last a long time.

Any ideas?

Filofax?

Hobbes8 · 20/06/2019 10:17

Do you mean like a Filofax? You can get nice leather ones. Kikki K is a nice brand as well, and they’re the same size so you can use each other’s inserts.

I have the personal size Filofax as I can just chuck it in my handbag. Had it for years and still gets used everyday.

Travelers Notebook? rather than Filofax?
Foxy Fix
Elrohir Leather
Websters Pages
Chic Sparrow
The Organised Hedgehog
Fauxdori
UK Planner Addicts on facebook
Planner Addicts UK Sales on Facebook
There are loads of different sizes. My favourite is 'standard' or A5/Cahier . Bit addictive.... Maybe look at Etsy? An on instagram There is a massive community out there.

I was looking at this. Would filofax be better? I want to be able to insert my own notebooks. I have a few on the go! 1 x business 1x gratitude 1 x personal/family

My wife adores William Hannah. I have to say (as someone who couldn't give one about stationary) they are beautifully made.

Owlbert · 20/06/2019 11:38

It's worth looking in your local TKMaxx/Homesense. I've had some lovely ones from there for a fraction of the price. You can try online but their website isn't the easiest to find things on!

Notthebossofnetflicks · 20/06/2019 13:26

No TK Maxx near ufortunately. All the ones ye have mentioned look great but i really would like to be able touch ( and smell...yes im v weird) before i buy! Going to a bigger town later today will check a few places out before i go back to my online search.

While im here....do u think it would be a good gift for my best friends 40th? She has everything i can think of and is currently launching her own business so it could be handy?

Mine is from Mulberry and has lasted years so far. They always have a range of different sizes and colours. On the pricey side though.

IHeartKingThistle · 20/06/2019 14:26

I covet the ones from ban.do and I suspect you will too...

Owlbert · 20/06/2019 16:15

Shame about TKMaxx but I know what ylu mean about touch and smell! I always do the same and my husband is worse i often catch him sniffing old books at home!

bridgetreilly · 20/06/2019 16:17

Yes, definitely get a TN (like the one you linked to!) There are lots of nice sellers on etsy. I got mine here but if you search etsy for leather traveler's notebook you'll find lots of really beautiful ones. You can limit your search to UK sellers if you prefer.

Doyouthinktheysaurus · 20/06/2019 21:19

I seem to have ordered a William Hannah A5 notebook for my birthday😳

It's a lot of money but I work a lot and I use notebooks constantly at work. I use Leuchtturm at the moment which are lovely but the William Hannah ones look so tactile and beautiful.

This website costs me a fortune.....

Notthebossofnetflicks · 05/07/2019 17:35

Update! Iv ordered it!!!! From paper republic. I so hope its not a let down. I am ridiculously EXCITED.
