To ask about quick fix weight loss

I've been following Slimming World- I've SLOWLY lost 2 stone. I'm still overweight though and, although I want to stick with proper weight loss lifestyle changes long term I'd like a quick fix right now.

I'm going away for 2 weeks in exactly a month.

Never tried slim fast or anything like that but happy to try for a short term quick loss. I'm time poor at the minute so never get chance to go to the gym.

Any tips pretty please?

Playmobilpirate - easiest diet I've ever done too!
Lost a stone in4 weeks then lost 2-3 lbs a week eating normally Fri pm - Sunday pm and 4 packs a day Mon am - Fri lunchtime.
Now just do it on days when I'm working as it's easier than healthy packed lunches!
Good luck!

Hi - I've not lost huge amounts like some have but I'd lost 2 stone nearly on SW before so guess it wasn't going to fly off as I was already eating well.

8lb off in the first 10 days. Not weighing again till the day of my hols next Friday 12th.

I hate the meals so I'm having the porridges/custard, shakes and bars. Warming the bars for 20 seconds in the microwave is a game changer!

That’s still a really good loss well done ! Will try the warming the bars trick

Op I’ve just lost 2.5 stone on the 8 week Blood sugar diet( aka fast 800)There’s a great thread on here that’s been really supportive.
Well done on your two stone off.

I've lost 12kg in 2 months on a high fat low carb diet. It is hard at first (adjusting to eating a lot of fat is tough) but when your body goes into ketosis, you burn a lot more fat and fast. Also eating lots of healthy fats keeps you fuller for longer, I'm rarely ever hungry and never tempted to eat cake or bread as I feel satisfied. It is a drastic lifestyle choice so research before you try. Best site to read up is dietdoctor.com. Good luck what ever you try.

Don't go for quick fix, you will pay for them.

If you have started to lose weight, keep going, maybe be more strict on "treats" but anything else and you will put the weight back on as soon as you go back to "normal" and you will lose all your motivation.

Exercise as much as you can, cut the shit food, but don't go for quick guaranteed to fail long term diet.

No starchy carbs after 3pm, always works a treat for me likewise the 5:2 diet.
