Oven temperature control

Posting for traffic.

I rarely use the oven and I'm not a baker, so the temperature dial is confusing me! If I want to heat it up to, say, 200°C, where should I turn the knob thingy? Not sure if the dot above the dial should be over one if the dots on the dial, or in the middle of the 200 marking?

Oh those ones always confuse me! I think it's meant to be in the middle of the 200 but I fully expect to be wrong!

Middle of 200 marker, the dot either side would be 175 and 225
