Just interested what you’ve got your dh’s from your Dc for Father’s Day? I was thinking of getting a personalised photo frame but wasn’t sure if that was a bit tacky?

Posh coffee and a card

Burpsandrustles · 15/06/2019 20:06

Toblerone😂😂😂

MaryPopppins · 15/06/2019 20:10

A plant. Some bubble bath (it's super hero themed and DD6 thought it was the best present for Daddy ever...) and homemade card.

We don't go OTT for Mother/Father's day.

MaryPopppins · 15/06/2019 20:12

Oh he also gets a lie in tomorrow.

TokyoSushi · 15/06/2019 20:17

A nice t-shirt and some chocolates here, he makes an effort for mothers day. DD(6) loves craft and has made him about 7 cards, I managed to tear DS away from the xbox for 2 minutes to write his card 🙄

Spanielsanddaughters · 15/06/2019 20:21

A card and a bottle of whisky, he’ll be very happy.

Heymummee · 15/06/2019 20:26

A mug, some socks, some nice face wash and moisturiser, a framed picture and we filled a big Kilner jar full of his favourite sweets.

aweedropofsancerre · 15/06/2019 20:31

Honeybooboo123 sounds like my OH.

DS has a school made cards and I have reminded the older DC ( as he did with my mothers day) will see what they have tomorrow

AmazingBouncingFerret · 15/06/2019 20:31

My husband, their stepdad, got a card and a box of chocolates.

Their dad got their previous Father’s Day nursery/early years works of art (they are now quite older) framed so he can put them in his office.

Snausage · 15/06/2019 20:33

A shaving kit from the Southsea Bathing Hut to replace the one that's come to an end, token Best Dad socks and a pair of slippers to replace the ones we got him last year that he's worn to death. And a card.

Preschool do a 'shop' for Mother's Day and Father's Day; we all donate items and throughout the week the kids take a quid and choose something. They decorate the paper, make a card and the staff wrap them up. It's so lovely. This year, DS (4yo) chose a couple of cans of beer Grin

itbemay1 · 15/06/2019 20:39

A voucher for a massage

oyoyoy · 15/06/2019 20:46

DHs first FD so I've gone a bit overboard- a personalised storybook and t-shirt, a Philips shaver, a cake and a card from the baby and another one from me. He thinks he isn't getting anything as I've been really poorly (and forgetful) recently!

Am following this thread for ideas for DHs birthday next month- so far, I've got the Tom Ford beard oil on my list thanks to a PP! I love TF myself so night treat myself at the same time!

oyoyoy · 15/06/2019 20:47

Ooooooh @Howlovely- that book's going on my list for DHs birthday too!

oyoyoy · 15/06/2019 20:48

@MsKhan- which fragrance did you go for with the oil?

Northernsoulgirl45 · 15/06/2019 21:16

A cd and a card. Although frankly I am not sure why I bothered as I got nothing for Mothers Day. Kids couldn't be bothered and clearly he was too ill or couldn't be bothered to facilitate it. Although he is clearly ecpecting gifts tomorrow.

maddening · 15/06/2019 21:23

A Lamborghini driving experience and a bag of sweets (ds is obsessed by those cars)

Marilynmansonsthermos · 15/06/2019 21:24

He's mad on "war of the worlds" so got a couple of tickets for the immersive 3d walkthrough experience in London. He's doing it with our 12 year old. It's been a crap couple of weeks so I thought I'd get him something nice

Loyaultemelie · 15/06/2019 21:32

A portable bbq (although this wasn't intended to be for Father's Day but arrived yesterday and I thought why not) Some kind of special whiskey glasses and a painted rock. A card from dd2 made in nursery and a Thortful card which dd1 filled in with lots of writing (she's dyslexic)

bellsbuss · 15/06/2019 21:33

A naice shirt.

Stravapalava · 15/06/2019 21:36

He asked for a certain piece of merchandise from his football club, so we went a bit extra and got him 2 different types of the thing he asked for, plus a memento scarf from a big event.

NeurotrashWarrior · 15/06/2019 21:38

Mushroom growing kit that popped up on fb.

It's really good! Uses coffee grounds. All cardboard and soil. Will compost.

babyno5 · 15/06/2019 21:42

A book about 50 best places to cycle, official guide of Tour de France and a magnetic phone holder.
He's a nightmare-doesn't drink and currently on a "no shite" diet so no choc either 🤷‍♀️

IAmDetermined · 15/06/2019 21:49

A pen that says "my kid's a fucking legend" for work Blush

Gag1964 · 15/06/2019 21:51

Neither of our children (grown up) have sent him anything. I think that is pretty shit really. They will probably both phone tomorrow but I think that's sad. Phoning is easy.
