Just interested what you’ve got your dh’s from your Dc for Father’s Day? I was thinking of getting a personalised photo frame but wasn’t sure if that was a bit tacky?

Beer, boxer shorts and an amazon echo. My son has made him a card too

PatchworkElmer · 15/06/2019 17:03

DH has done well this year- a month’s gym membership and a Daddy Pig book.

Hermagsjesty · 15/06/2019 17:08

The kids have made cards and baked him flapjacks and I also got him some of his fave fudge and a little kitchen gadget I knew he wanted.

Shannaratiger · 15/06/2019 17:09

Nothing he said don't bother!

FilthyforFirth · 15/06/2019 17:10

Bought 2 tickets to the cricket world cup which takes care of both my DF and DH. I am quite ill with a nasty virus so he might not get a lie in and I've only managed a card as I've basically been bedbound!

CombineBananaFister · 15/06/2019 17:14

We made him a 'World's Greatest Grandma' trophy as we're all comic fans. Couple of beers from local independent Brewery with fab names (Pale Winton and RhuBarbara Streisand) Tony chocoloney Bar. Spent £10 and chuffed with it.

whatnow40 · 15/06/2019 17:20

We've got homemade cards and a homemade book of daddy vouchers; breakfast in bed, a time out for himself, daddy/son football match tickets (DH to choose which game he wants), Dads choice of family activity day and unlimited hugs.

sickmumma · 15/06/2019 17:27

I got him a bottle of whiskey and a nice glass, a key ring with the children's names on and a Etsy card! Spent about £50! We've brought clothes etc before.

He normally does quite well for me on Mother's Day!

blackcat86 · 15/06/2019 17:51

I was going to get a nice framed family pic. DH asked for a wheelbarrow Hmm. Weird but I'll go with it.

Pixel99 · 15/06/2019 18:02

Bugger all. Since he is no longer a DH but a STBXH who hasn't bothered with Mothers Day, my birthday and not much at Xmas for the past few years when I have ensured DC have given thoughtful and expensive gifts despite he earns nearly twice as much as I do and doesn't pay maintenance I thought sod it this year.

ChickenTikkaTellMeWhatsWrong · 15/06/2019 18:46

9 little fridge magnets from photobox with pictures of him and our boys and a pint glass with 'best dad's as he's moved into a flat and has no glasses only cups. The boys are staying with him overnight so I would have got a break but decided to book a night shift instead Hmm

Charlottejade89 · 15/06/2019 18:48

I got him a top he wanted for our holiday and some new hair shavers lol

lrh3891 · 15/06/2019 18:54

@Entschuldigung please say that's true! And please say he's actually your ex...

Eminybob · 15/06/2019 19:00

A mug from moonpig with pics of the dc on, a dark chocolate orange (his fave and not readily available where we usually shop) and a 4 pack of fruit pastilles (another fave Hmm) but I think ds1 is more exciting about eating them. And a moonpig card.

Rarfy · 15/06/2019 19:03

First fathers day:

Photo socks off Etsy with photos of DD and DP all over
Daddysaurus and babysaurus matching tops (not really for him but rest of outfit for dd to wear tomo)
Sweets
Daddy pig mug
Google play voucher.

BarryBarryTaylor · 15/06/2019 19:06

Some face cream from Lush, socks, chocolates, a book, and I may grab a bottle of beer later x

Governoress86 · 15/06/2019 19:06

My DH has got £50, beard pampering kit and some nice beer of our DD

EsmeeMerlin · 15/06/2019 19:09

I just paid for it, my eldest ds picked what he wanted and got him a t-shirt we saw on sale in Sainsbury’s, a little Star Wars Lego set and some dad socks from poundland. All less than £10.

I do it for my eldest son who really wanted to buy dh something. Dh did not get me a card from our son’s or anything for Mother’s Day this year so I do sometimes resent doing it for him on Father’s Day.

ehsw · 15/06/2019 19:12

An 'afternoon off' kit (our 11mo is a bit of a handful!) - cinema voucher, and peanut M&Ms and a can of beer to smuggle into cinema.

Plus a nice 'dad and me' board book to read at bedtime

RockyisMYRhino · 15/06/2019 19:15

DH has already had his present as it was a one time q&a with his favourite author in London last month. He's having an extra present of me not moaning while he's spent all afternoon and evening watching a really boring long thing on the telly. He will get a card from DS in the morning though

ElizaPancakes · 15/06/2019 19:17

Mario themed t-shirt from Uniqlo.

LordProfFekkoThePenguinPhD · 15/06/2019 19:18

A new book he wanted to read on holiday.

Clockworkprincess · 15/06/2019 19:28

Ds has bought his daddy a voucher for haircut and shave (he loves being pampered) and a chocolate orange 😁 boring but what he likes

LuckyLou7 · 15/06/2019 19:28

Two bottles of craft beer (she'll pay me back on pay day) from DD1 and a bottled of Salty Dog rum from the dog.

Honeybooboo123 · 15/06/2019 19:55

Nothing

Apparently "you're not my mother so why would I buy anything?" Is his line of thinking

Well, he's not my father. And the kids made cards at school.

I didn't get a meal made on mother's day either so.. I'll return the favour
